Jack + Jill Bath “Timeless Contemporary”

Ever so cool but timeless in overall design, with a slight touch a masculinity compared to its counter part across the opposite second level bedroom wing of this Early American style home make this jack + jill bath appealing and fun for visiting guests. Classic light fixtures reimagined in a more sophisticated and contemporary design improved vanity and general lighting needs for this bath, which mounted on mirrors extending to the ceiling from the vanity, give this bath a feeling of being double its original size. For interest and function, floating wood stained shelves add a touch of warmth and contrast to a soft light gray background of color. New base cabinets redesigned for improved storage and larger double vanity sinks from the originals also give nod to contemporary yet transitional design elements. A granite counter top that was selected initially as inspiration for the rest of the materials for this project became a beautiful and artistic point of interest and texture. For the shower room, a custom all glass sliding shower door with top barn door style track and curb-less floor transition expand the shower interior space and expose the stacked subway tile installation. A space definitely not opposed to pleasing all who have the opportunity extend their visit.
