Fireplace + Media Wall Remodel

A fireplace is the heart of a room. It enhances the space, creates ambiance, and creates a cohesive aesthetic.

A fireplace and media wall remodel was just what this homeowner desired. Large scale custom stained oak veneered panels with metal style laminate reveals make a statement and lead your eye upward to the second level open banister. The rift cut style of oak veneer kept the panels looking fresh and contemporary, rich color added drama while the solid concrete fireplace surround settles and grounds the overall design. Scale and proportion were important factors in this design and attention to detail in craftsmanship was executed beautifully by the construction team. We especially love how the simplistic style of the metal floating shelves above the media cabinet and repurposed cabinet case with new doors and hardware balanced the positive and negative spaces of this wall façade. The result is a beautiful and cohesive design refresh that will add enjoyment and value to this home.
