California Master Bathroom
Even a partial remodel can be a significant upgrade to your home. The primary goals of this master bath were to repurpose the existing floor tile, expand the shower and create a space for the client “refresh” and “retreat” after a long day of work and tending to family. Removing a portion of the adjacent cabinet and vanity allowed the expansion of two shower walls. To enhance the homeowners showering experience, a new rain shower plumbing system and custom river rock shower base were added in combination with the mindful use of warm and cool tones to blend new and existing colors. Textured glass tiles used on the shower walls give the illusion of soft ocean waves while the new clear glass shower door and partial glass walls add to the allure and expand the shower further. Rich creamy white color tones were used for base cabinets and bathroom walls to contrast and lift warm rust color tones of existing floor tile, and to become the perfect foundation for the new vanity countertops, backsplash, plumbing fixtures and sinks. But one cannot forget the jewelry! A little glam and sparkle of light fixtures selected by the client for her vanity and over-the-tub mini chandelier were the perfect finishing touches.
